FourLing's Myth
On the vast lands of the Ming Dynasty, General Yuan stood as a pillar of strength, guarding the borders with his outstanding military prowess and unwavering patriotism. The enemy he faced was no ordinary foe, but the overwhelming might of the Qing forces, advancing like a tidal wave.
With war drums pounding and smoke filling the air, General Yuan and his soldiers fought shoulder to shoulder, vowing to protect their homeland to the last breath. Yet, the sheer strength of the Qing forces began to overwhelm the Ming army, pushing them to the brink of despair. Just when all hope seemed lost, the heavens and earth suddenly roiled, ancient seals were broken, and the Four Spirits awoke from their slumber. Their forms soared above the battlefield, radiating a dazzling light, descending like celestial warriors to aid General Yuan.
With the divine powers of the Four Spirits blessing them, the morale of the Ming army surged. The Qing forces, assailed by the mystical forces, retreated in disarray. Ultimately, under General Yuan’s brilliant command and the enigmatic strength of the Four Spirits, the Ming army emerged victorious, inscribing a glorious chapter in the history of the Ming Dynasty.
Yet, this battle also came with a heavy toll. The bodies of the Four Spirits shattered in the fierce fighting, their fragments scattering across the land and instantly transforming into countless vibrant, fragrant flowers and plants. These flora brought life and hope to the once war-ravaged soil, symbolizing the arrival of peace and victory.
Deeply grateful for the blessings of the Four Spirits, General Yuan decided to gather these flowers and plants, crafting them into incense tablets. When worn by the soldiers, the tablets seemed to imbue them with the spirits’ divine powers, boosting their morale and combat effectiveness. In subsequent battles, they achieved repeated victories, with even their wounds healing rapidly.
As time passed, this legendary tale was etched into history. The story of General Yuan and the Four Spirits became a cherished tale passed down through generations, inspiring people to bravely forge ahead and persistently pursue peace and victory.
